Cookies N’ Cream Brownie Cheesecake

IMG_7749.JPG

If I say to you Oreos, brownies & cream cheese…does that grab your attention?  If not then good bye.  Just kidding…well maybe!  A girlfriend of mine brought this super easy cookies n’ cream brownie cheesecake recipe (that you may have seen floating around Facebook) into my life and I am.in.love.  I could not wait to make these and not only are they beyond simple, but this heavenly sensation is beyond delicious…I don’t even want to tell you how many pans I have made or should I say how many pans I have eaten (no shame).

What you will need

Brownie Mix

1 Package of Oreos

16 oz cream cheese (softened)

½ cup sugar

1 egg

½ tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 325. Begin with your choice of brownie mix and make up according to box instruction. Pour into greased 9×13 pan.

Now you will line Oreos across the top of brownie mix untill completely covered…we are a double stuff household, but you could use regular or thins if you perfer. I also tried out this most recent batch using half with golden Oreos and I have to be honest there really wasn’t any drastic taste difference…so this girl will stick with the basic chocolate!

Mix together cream cheese, sugar, egg & vanilla untill smooth.  I used a hand mixer, but you could also use a wisk.  Pour over Oreos and then top with crushed oreos. Bake for 45 minutes and then let chill for at least an hour before serving. Its really really hard to wait!  Enjoy!
